What is a Park Model

Park Model homes, also known as recreational park trailers, are built on a single chassis mounted on wheels. They are no larger than 400 square feet and are built in compliance with ANSI housing standards. Every Park Model built to these rigorous RV standards will bear a blue and gold RVIA seal certifying that the manufacturer has complied with the requirements of these quality standards. Park Model RVs differ from "tiny homes" because tiny homes follow much more lenient housing standards, if any at all.

What is the difference between and RV and Park Model RV

Park model RVs are going to be larger than traditional RVs with some reaching the size of smaller apartments. Many park model RVs come fully loaded with features such as full sized showers, living rooms, and kitchens that include full size ovens and refrigerators.

Is a park model a good investment?

As far as holding their value, park model homes are excellent investments. They are built to last 30-50 years or more with minimal maintenance, and their rising popularity means that their rental and resale value is still very high.

Do Park Models Hold Their Value?

Park model homes can hold their value, depending on several factors such as the quality of construction and features, where the model is located, and how the model is maintained. Because the models are typically used as vacation homes, they can appreciate in value over time, depending on the location.

Where can you place a park model?

Park Model RVs are mobile homes that are primarily used for long-term housing and can be parked at designated recreational vehicle campgrounds and RV parks. These units can also be placed by their owner's on private property just about anywhere!
